Mission

To develop in each student the qualities of
leadership, scholarship, service, and good chara
cter
in an atmosphere that stresses family values and Judeo-Christian ideals.

In pursuing and fulfilling this mission, Kenston Forest School will:

1.  provide a challenging, well-rounded curriculum focusing on comprehension and mastery in the core subjects.

2.  maintain an environment which motivates students to expand their abilities of critical thinking and problem solving skills that will help them compete successfully in a college and adult life.

3.  provide the students with the knowledge and capability to evaluate, access, and wisely utilize the quantity of information that has resulted from expanded technology so that they can compete in a rapidly changing technological world.

4.  seek a high standard of honor, integrity, and personal responsibility by emphasizing a strong commitment to family and Christian values.

5.  promote a family atmosphere by developing a sense of unity among students, faculty, parents, and community.

6.  foster in every student a deep sense of respect for self and respect for the abilities and differences of others.

7.  create opportunities in the classroom and within an enriched extracurricular program, for the development of leadership, self discipline, cooperative interaction, creative interests, and independence.

8.  provide to the world a student who can communicate well by reading, writing, speaking and listening effectively coupled with the ability to respond and adapt to changing global conditions
