- TEXAS FESTIVAL The Texas Festival is held each June at Kenston Forest School. The festival features a "Texas-style" food menu with barbeque pork and beef, ribs, chili, tacos, and beverages - along with musical entertainment. Visit the festival website here.
- MAY DAY This major project of Kenston Forest School is the annual May Day celebration. After a variety program presented by the Lower School, activities include lunch, games, carnival activities and booths that sell gift baskets, homemade foods, and baked goods. This part of the day's events is planned by parent volunteers, faculty, and students in grades K - 12.
- ALUMNI AUCTION This major fundraiser is sponsored by the Alumni Association. The spirited silent and live auction is held in the school gymnasium. A heavy hors d'oeuvre buffet and refreshments are offered.
- BASKET BINGOThis major project is sponsored by the PTO. Fabulous Longaberger Baskets filled with great products can be won by lucky participants.

here.Kenston patrons are fabulous! Parents, students, and faculty members have all shown great fundraising energy that is truly appreciated. Groups of volunteers raise funds for everything from stage curtains to prom decorations. Be sure to visit the PTO page here and the Alumni page here to see more about their activities. Throughout the year, various groups hold fundraising activities including:

- Citrus Fruit - Juniors (for Prom)
- Stew/BBQ - Athletic Department
- Magazines - All grades
- Yankee Candles - PTO
- "Karnations" - Cheerleaders
- Desserts - Cheerleaders and Sports Teams
- School Photos - All grades
- Pecans - Grade 7 (for Wallops Island Trip)
- Gingerbread House - PTO
We collect Box Tops for Education found on General Mills cereal boxes, Betty Crocker products, and Yoplait yogurt containers. Each box top is worth 10 cents.
TYSON FOOD LABELS
We collect food labels/panels found on Tyson food products. Each label/panel is worth 24 cents.
CAMPBELL'S SOUP LABELS
Campbell soup labels are collected by the Kenston Forest School Early Learning Program and are redeemed for educational merchandise.
USED PRINTER CARTRIDGES AND CELL PHONES
The Technology Department collects used inkjet and laser printer cartridges, and cell phones. The points earned are used to purchase technology supplies for the school.
ITEMS FOR SALE
During the school year, the students sell a variety of items to benefit the school. These items include citrus fruit, pecans, wrapping paper, and magazines. Keep an eye on the News Page and also check out the Calendar to see what is offered this month. All items sold benefit the students.
KENSTON BRICKS
A unique way to honor your child when he or she graduates from Kenston Forest School is through the Kenston Forest School Alumni Brick program. Under this program, you may have your graduate's name permanently inscribed on a personalized brick in our Alumni Walkway, located just outside the Upper School building. When you honor your child in the Alumni Brick program, he or she is presented with a special recognition certificate acknowledging your gift.

BOOK FAIRS
Book Fairs are held in the fall and spring in the KFS library. Proceeds from this event benefit the needs of the KFS library.
